Catalyst control centre....

Postby [22g]Hooligan][uk » Fri Jan 29, 2010 12:52 pm

is not where its s'posed to be its just disspeard. The icon appears when I left clik my desktop, and its in my advanced display settings but it dont pop up when I clik on it......and I get no error message.I get the icon that its loading but nothing.

Had a look on t'net and downloaded and run a bit of software called 'revo uninstaller pro' and uninstalled everything.....and I mean everything reg settings the lot and installed the latest ati drivers+cat but Im getting the same as before. It seems to be a well known prob with ATI cards, and happens when you already have CCC installed, then download the latest ATI driver+CCC then install again.....even after you have cleaned everything off.
Basically I cant find a defintive answer and wondering if anyone here can shed some light on it,cause I really wanna tweak the crap outta me ME2.

Did a search on the net and it didnt came up with anything useful for you...
It just happens from time to time and the people who suffered got it working a wee bit later for no reason.

The only thing that came up as a suggestion is dl the latest NET frame pack...
Dunno if it helps, does (hopefully) no damage and worth a try imo:

Just tried again and this time I deleted every off to do with the catalyst and the GFX card...restarted....re-installed...restarted....and windows pinged up the error CCC needs to close because of a fault with the installation.

Ok this is the fault that pinged up,means nothing to me and cant really find anything on google......anyone here got a clue what it might be>

I guess unless your a developer for AMD or MS there is nothing you can do.
The installation went wrong and it created a minidump file that MS wants you to send thats all i can say about that.

Try again & Good luck.

Good luck, but i think you posted it in the wrong section...
ATI Catalyst would be the section i would suggest, you posted it in the ATI Radeon section...
