I never tried the first one. Is it worth playing?

Even the first one looked intresting with the cell shaded graphics and animeesque look but i have enough games on my wii that i havent completed and probably never will.

Yeah i'm also wondering if the first is worth it. It's currently £8 in HMV. I've kinda bought enough so i won't buy until at least a couple of months IF it's still there but just curious as i know no1 who has actually played it but it's seemed to have went down critically well...that's critics tho.

I got about half-way through NMH then just stopped playing for no particular reason. It's fun, stylish, and has a decent story, but I find I can only play a little bit at a time. I think some parts of NMH just don't gel as good as they should, the driving about the city is rather boring and the tasks between levels get repetitive. It's still a good game though, and well worth £8 I'd say.

hmmm think I might go and play it again lol

Ah one of those games. You like at first, eventually get bored and wonder what the fuss is yet every now and then you can't help but go back to struggle your way through another mission.

If it's still £8 i might still get it cause suppose those type of games last ye :p

Only did the training and ran about for a bit slicing and i can see myself being addicted to this when i eventually start it (will be a while it's on a backlist)

SO STYLISH! at first i thought crap cause you don't swing mote for sword but once you learn about all the different combat styles and combo's and understand why that is i absolutley love the setup. Dialogue looks like it will be fun too lol. Got to get through Manhunt 2, Disaster Day of Crisis and Metroid Prime 3 before NMH tho.

Take it the sequal will be out this year? (not watching any trailers for it incase of spoilers related to story of its prequal)

Goichi Suda breaks the hearts of countless Wii owners, suggesting that once No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle is finished, the franchise will leave the platform behind.

While No More Heroes and its star Travis Touchdown have captured the hearts of many fans on the Nintendo Wii, Suda's ambition might just be too big for the platform. Once the sequel hits store shelves in early 2010, it could be curtains for the Wii franchise.

"I think ['No More Heroes 2'] is the last ‘NMH' that is going to be developed on the Wii. To expand ‘NMH' to new possibilities, we need a new platform. Wii is a great platform, but we've done everything we can with it now."
While disappointing news for Wii owners, it is a move that makes sound business sense. Despite an excellent reception, the first No More Heroes didn't exactly fly off store shelves. One would imagine that a mature title with the charm of NMH would do amazingly well on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, or even the iPhone.

Where would you folks like to see No More Heroes go next?

Why not just say it's the sales lol "...done everything we can with it now" :s as far as i know NMH2 dosn't use Motion Plus :p lol Wonder if No More Heroes 3 is the mystery PS3 game that could bankrupt them lol. I remember reading they are making a game on PS3 thats risky cause its different...NMH is different. Honestly don't know why they bother their a talented developer and would be sad to see them go lol. NO MORE RISKS!
